  4. Qualifications:

    Required qualifications

    • Current University of Toronto graduate student
    • Detail and process oriented mindset
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Ability to analyze and present data for non-technical audiences
    • User-focused approach
    • Good initiative and capacity for self-directed learning

    Preferred qualifications

    • Interest in or familiarity with online accessibility, the AODA, and/or web management
    • Familiarity with the University, Robarts Library, and UTL in-person and online services
    • Knowledge of User Experience, Service Design, experience mapping, or service blueprinting
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  5. Duties:

    Based in Robarts Library, Reference & Research Services Department, the User Services Accessibility GSLA will assist in reviewing the accessibility of online library services.

    Duties may include:

    • Data collection, analysis, summarizing, and visualization
    • Researching online accessibility and accessibility auditing procedures
    • Conducting an accessibility audit
    • Analyzing audit findings
    • Reporting on audit findings
    • Web content editing
    • Working with the User Services Librarian to develop recommendations
  6. Hours per Week:
    12-15 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 9-5.
  7. Hourly Rate:
    $26.53, $27.32
