  4. Qualifications:

    University of Toronto graduate student. Library Sciences student or graduate student with strong reading knowledge of Korean. Experience in cataloguing, including searching of online bibliographic databases
    preferred. Excellent oral and written English skills essential. Demonstrated good work performance and attendance record. Ability to
    do detailed work with speed and accuracy. Ability to handle a large daily volume of library materials and to push book trucks.
    Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments promptly and accurately with minimal supervision.

  5. Duties:

    Under general supervision, processes catalogue records for library materials in Korean. Searches for bibliographic records in online database(s), copies and edits them in the local database. Searches
    online for Library of Congress authority records and copies them into the local catalogue. Integrates call numbers into the local
    shelf-list when required. Produces and affixes call number labels to physical items. Duties may also include some checking of
    vendor-catalogued books; counting and shelving new books by language; some processing of microform publications. Other related
    duties may be assigned.

  6. Hours per Week:
    10 (minimum)-24 (maximum) hours per week, to be scheduled Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  7. Hourly Rate:
    $26.53, $27.32
