  4. Qualifications:

    University of Toronto student. Strong service orientation. Committed to the values of inclusion, diversity, and equity. Good oral communication skills. Ability to deal effectively with the public and with other staff. Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality. Attention to detail and accuracy essential. Previous library or customer service experience an asset. Ability to push book trucks, lift boxes, and shelve books.

  5. Duties:

    Serving on public service desk and performing circulation duties such as checking for items in the library catalogue, loans, returns, library fines and answering questions about the library. Shelving and retrieving material (this may involve pushing book trucks and lifting boxes). Shifting and moving the collection. Shelf reading, dusting, other duties as required. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site.

  6. Hours per Week:
    Shift work (weekday days). 5 hours/week (Additional shifts may become available).
  7. Hourly Rate:
    $16.98, $17.49, $18.19, $18.86, $19.57
