Duties:
Working behind the scenes at Robarts Library, the successful candidate(s) will help the Resource Sharing (Interlibrary Loan) team fulfill user requests for library material in a timely fashion. This includes retrieving requested books from the shelves, placing requested material on the hold shelf for pickup at Robarts (or in outgoing mail for pickup elsewhere), scanning excerpts of requested material for electronic delivery, unpacking and sorting incoming mail, and other related duties as assigned.
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to work on-site (campus). During the pandemic, the University continues to monitor public health guidelines as they relate to libraries and work closely with the University’s Environmental Health and Safety Office and other campus officials. As such, hours cannot be guaranteed if public health and university health and safety guidelines limit access to libraries and buildings.
