  4. Qualifications:

    Experience: Knowledge of computer hardware, software, trouble-shooting, maintenance, and installation; user or customer support experience. Some familiarity with command line, shell and batch scripting (e.g. Perl, Bash, Windows PowerShell, SQL) is an asset, but not required. Demonstrated experience in a job or project that required a high attention to detail (e.g. inventorying, data entry, etc.)

    Other: Self-motivated, strong service orientation; high attention to detail; ability to effectively and tactfully assist patrons and employees of the library; problem solving and organizational skills; good communication skills; ability to work in a team environment; demonstrated good work performance and attendance.

  5. Duties:

    Under direct supervision, performs duties to support the team responsible for the University of Toronto Libraries staff workstation and network support. Assists in resolving routine computer-related problems as they arise. Installs computer software and hardware. Assists in inventory management, asset disposal, hardware maintenance, and documentation as required.
    Other duties as assigned.

    This position will assist in a project to refresh staff computers, including deployment and removal of hardware to staff work workstations.

    This successful candidate will be required to work on-site (Robarts Library)

    $16.98, $17.49, $18.19, $18.86, $19.57
