Qualifications:
Must be a University of Toronto student. Familiarity with library call numbers, ability to travel between St George campus libraries, primarily Robarts and the Bora Laskin Library, to retrieve books from shelves. Keyboarding and basic equipment troubleshooting skills (photocopiers, printers, scanners, and computers) required. Familiarity with the university, the library and on-line services desirable. Experience with the LC Library of Congress classification system is an asset. Demonstrated good work performance, attendance and punctuality. Must be flexible with regards to scheduling.

Duties:
Under general supervision, will assist the Access Services Coordinator and the Faculty Services Librarian in fulfilling faculty and inter-library loan requests by retrieving material from shelves, photocopying material and other duties as assigned. Daytime shifts only, Monday to Friday.
This successful candidate will be required to work on-site.Please note that during the pandemic, the University continues to monitor public health guidelines as they relate to libraries and work closely with the University’s EnvironmentalHealth and Safety Office and other campus officials. As such, hours cannot be guaranteed if public health and university health and safety guidelines limit access to libraries and buildings.
