Qualifications:
University of Toronto graduate student. Students from the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design preferred. Experience using artificial intelligence (AI) image generation software like DALL-E and/or Midjourney. Interest in applying AI tools in visual arts or architecture research. Interest in ethical use of generative AI and critically evaluating new technology. Understanding of academic honestly, plagiarism, and citation management software. Experience supporting instruction. Experience creating instructional tools, i.e. presentations, online modules, etc. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Ability to do detailed work with speed and accuracy, and to complete work assignments promptly and accurately with minimal supervision.
Desirable: Experience using AI image generation software for design and/or academic assignments. Experience leading undergraduate instruction.

Duties:
1. Research and develop instructional content on using AI tools for art and design. (65%)
Under supervision, research applications for using AI in the fields of visual arts and architecture. Work collaboratively with librarian and faculty to develop workshop series and related materials. Develop instruction content for integration in undergraduate courses (ex. assignments, slides, handouts, Quercus module, etc.)2. Co-deliver instruction in Daniels Faculty for Architecture, Landscape, and Design on using AI tools for art and design. (10%)
Work collaboratively with librarian and faculty to deliver instruction to undergraduate students.3. Complete assessment of instruction and co-create research deliverable. (25%)
Develop assessment tool to collect course feedback. Analyze feedback and provide summary. Co-collaborate on research deliverable (ex. article or conference poster) -
Hours per Week:5-10 hours/week, with possibility of extension. Some evenings may be required. Mostly remote work, with some hours in-person (onsite) required

Hourly Rate:$26.53, $27.32
