  4. Qualifications:

    University of Toronto undergraduate or graduate student required, Faculty of Information preferred. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with standard office tools, especially spreadsheets.

    Previous customer service experience. Problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently. Excellent judgment and ability to prioritize the work and meet urgent user requests. Interest in accessibility and/or collaborative library partnerships preferred. Thorough knowledge of the UTL system is an asset.

  5. Duties:

    The Accessible Content ePortal (ACE) is a service of Scholars Portal providing accessible books to library users with disabilities at universities and colleges across Ontario. Duties include managing the daily workflow of digitization requests, providing customer service to staff at member libraries, liaising with a variety of staff across UTL and other Ontario library systems, and retrieving books for digitization purposes. Travel across the campus may be required.
    The successful candidate will be required to work onsite (on campus) and carry books to the scanners or box them for mailing back.

  6. Hours per Week:
    Minimum 6 with an option to increase the number of hours during busy periods of the service
  7. Hourly Rate:
    $30.45 $31.34
