  4. Qualifications:

    University of Toronto Graduate Student in History or Faculty of Information archival stream. Excellent proficiency in traditional Chinese and handwritten script in different styles. Strong service orientation. Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with the public and other staff. Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral). Experience with archival description and processing. Ability to do detailed work with speed and accuracy with minimal supervision. Demonstrated good attendance and work performance record. Technical skills including word processing, database and spreadsheets.

  5. Duties:

    Under supervision of the librarian-in-charge, provides general reference and research assistance to patrons by providing catalogue and other basic information during weekday hours. Working closely with the CHKL Archivist, assists with archival projects including basic archival arrangement and description, as well as processing. Other duties as assigned.

  6. Hours per Week:
    Shift work for Saturday and evenings are required. Maximum 15 hours per week.
  7. Hourly Rate:
